Our Story
Purus Lumina Ltd
Built from inside the gap nobody else had filled.
Where It Started
Purus Lumina was founded in the UK after one straightforward observation: aromatherapy devices are precision instruments, and no dedicated care solution existed for them.
Not one formulated specifically for the task. Not one made in the UK. Not one backed by a documented care protocol.
That gap is where Purus Lumina began.
The Problem We Solved
Aromatherapy devices operate at exact temperatures, with exact materials. Residue accumulates. Airflow degrades. Performance declines. The device that isn't maintained correctly is a device that no longer performs to specification.
Generic cleaning products were never designed for this. Isopropanol from a hardware store is not the same as 99.9% pharmaceutical-grade IPA formulated for precision device care.
The device was available. The care standard was not.
We identified the gap. We documented the correct standard. We built the solution to fill it.
Precision care for precision instruments.
What We Built
Purus Lumina Device Purification Solution is the UK's first dedicated aromatherapy device care solution — 99.9% pharmaceutical-grade isopropanol, aluminium-bottled, domestically manufactured.
Alongside the product, we built the world's first documented device care education programme — 21 modules covering cleaning protocols, maintenance standards, contamination risk, and long-term device performance. Built because nothing else existed.
Every element — the formulation, the packaging, the curriculum — was designed around one principle: your device performs to the standard you maintain it to.
Why It Matters
No import dependency. No compromise on purity. No generic substitute passed off as a specialist product.
We are UK-registered, UK-supplied, and here for the long term.
Not a trend. Not a side project. The care standard the category was missing.
The gap was real. The standard was absent. The solution did not exist.
It does now.
