VOLCANO MEDIC 2 Medical Vaporizer

The VOLCANO MEDIC 2 is a desktop medical vaporizer manufactured by Storz & Bickel and a development of the original VOLCANO MEDIC. It is intended for the inhalable administration of prescribed dried cannabis flower in accordance with the manufacturer’s Instructions for Use. It offers digital temperature control and a choice of tube or balloon delivery.

Supplied by Purus Lumina, an authorised UK distributor for STORZ & BICKEL. The VOLCANO MEDIC 2 is available to order with estimated delivery in 7 to 10 days. Your device arrives in its original manufacturer packaging, with delivery by DPD. We’ll email you if the delivery estimate changes.

Device traceability

We record the serial number of the device supplied to you alongside your contact details so we can contact you if a relevant manufacturer safety notice or recall affects it. Our Privacy Policy explains how these records are used and retained.

Device Care and Maintenance

Follow the current Storz & Bickel Instructions for Use for cleaning, disassembly and replacement of VOLCANO MEDIC 2 components. Manufacturer instructions take priority over general device-care guidance.

• Follow the manufacturer's instructions for emptying and brushing the filling chamber, including temperature and handling precautions.
• Replace the MEDIC VALVE balloon and tube after 70 uses or 14 days from first use, whichever comes first. These are single-patient consumables and must not be shared. Follow the current Instructions for Use and replace sooner where required.
• Clean the filling chamber and screens only using methods and cleaning agents permitted by Storz & Bickel for those parts. Only immerse removable, non-electronic components where the manufacturer expressly permits it. Follow its component-specific contact times, rinsing and drying instructions.
• Inspect and replace screens according to the manufacturer's instructions and their condition. Genuine Storz & Bickel replacement screens are available in our Accessories and Maintenance collection.
• Inspect and replace the air filter set according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Allow the device to cool and disconnect it from power before cleaning, as directed in the Instructions for Use. Never immerse the base unit or electronic components, and keep liquids away from the heating element, electrical connections and power connection.
• Store the device upright on a stable surface. The VOLCANO MEDIC 2 is a desktop unit and is not designed for portable use.

Purus Lumina Device Purification Solution is available in multiple sizes. Before using it on any device component, check that the manufacturer permits the cleaning agent and method for that specific part. Do not use it on electronic components.

Warranty

Covered by Storz & Bickel's manufacturer warranty: 2 years as standard, extended to 3 years upon device registration. As the only desktop device in the Storz & Bickel range, the VOLCANO MEDIC 2 is repaired directly by the manufacturer rather than replaced.

Returns

Due to hygiene reasons, this device can only be returned for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the seal is unbroken. Once opened: within 30 days, the device can be returned for a full refund or replacement if faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Between 30 days and 6 months, a faulty device can be repaired or replaced. After 6 months, Storz & Bickel's manufacturer warranty applies.

Regulatory Information

The VOLCANO MEDIC 2 is a Class IIa certified medical device manufactured by Storz & Bickel GmbH and registered with the MHRA (UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency). It is intended for the administration of prescribed cannabis-based medicines in accordance with the manufacturer’s Instructions for Use and the prescribing clinician’s directions. Distributed in the UK by Purus Lumina Ltd in accordance with UK MDR 2002.
